Although I had lost 65 pounds 12 years ago, I had found that in the past 3-4 years I was struggling to keep my weight within my weight range. After losing and then gaining the same 15 pounds several times in the past couple of years and being hungry, grumpy and all around miserable, I knew I had to do something different. About a year ago, Joey began putting together online workout programs for me that kept me moving and getting stronger, while allowing me to workout at the best time for myself in the fitness center at my work place. Then I started working with Kelly on macro nutrition a few months later. Macro eating was the first time in forever I didn’t feel hungry all the time and I was finally eating real food and fueling my body properly for not only my workouts, but also for my passion – ballroom dancing. Being stronger, lighter and healthier has really allowed me to take my dancing to another level and given me more confidence on the dance floor. After 6 months, I’m the same size I was in high school, but in better shape than I’ve ever been in my life. To date, I’ve lost close to 20 pounds and almost 20 inches overall. I have a big shopping trip planned because I literally don’t have a single pair of pants in my closet that aren’t too big!! Kelly & Joey have been there with me every step of the way, helping and encouraging me to keep going. They’re amazing coaches and even more amazing people.
